Welcome to Gatesville Riding Club - on the Web!
Welcome!

A family oriented horse club, GRC has been in existence for more than 40 years. We welcome single people as well as families (with or without children.) The Club is made up of playday and rodeo competitors, non-competitors, ranchers, and horsemen. GRC is intended to bring individuals together to make new friends with a common interest in Texas horsemanship.

GRC hosts an annual rodeo at the Gatesville Riding Club Arena. This annual event is held the last weekend of each July and attracts competitors from all over the western US. We also provide Playdays, Jackpot Barrels, Barrel Clinics, roping events, Trail Rides, and Parade participation whenever possible.

Club meetings are the first Monday of each month at the GRC Riding Arena at 6:30 p.m.

Our Mission Statement

The purpose of the Gatesville Riding Club (GRC) shall be to encourage the motto of: “Horsemanship,Sportsmanship, Citizenship and Fellowship” among amateur horsemen. It is the aim of our organization to keep alive the tradition of the Texas horseman.

Our organization actively seeks to promote the art of horsemanship and friendship among member and friends, fostered through a number of events throughout the year.  GRC is a non-profit organization and is managed by a Board of Directors.

It's getting to be that time of year again! Time to dust off your boots, pull out your cowboy hat, and head out to the Annual Gatesville Rodeo.

There's nothing like a warm summer day breathing fresh arena dirt, the smell of hot cooked 'burgers, and watching cowboys and cowgirls perform their favorite arena events.  It's a great opportunity for the whole family - kiddos too - to meet up with old friends and to meet new friends.
